Hotel is ideal for visits to the 16th Century Abingdon
Abbey, Blenheim Palace or the universities of Oxford
- or simply fish from the hotel's grounds.

The hotel contains
one of the towns most ancient relics, a Millwheel,
with origins dating back to Abingdon Abbey in
1200 - the wheel is still in operation and can
be viewed within the restaurant.
The Upper Reaches offers moorings for up to 6
boats, and has running water available for guests
using these facilities. Overnight rates are from
£20 per night.
Some excellent fishing is available for residents
either on the Thames or the Millstream, which
features a rather large Pike. The Millstream is
also a great area for viewing the resident Kingfisher
and other waterfowl. |
